Who is a Great Christian?

In Central Asia, tea is a staple symbol of friendship and fellowship. Tarmukhan took this photo and sent it to his Gospelink sponsors. Tarmukhan has gone on to be with the Lord (March 2020), but the faces of the others across from the table, to whom he was sharing the message of Christ, cannot be shown online.

“I went to the mountains to visit the shepherds, who live in harsh conditions. I took them some warm clothing and witnessed to them.”

I was impressed in every report that Tarmukhan wrote with his faithfulness to share the gospel with people of all levels. In Central Asia many people still claw a living out of tending livestock in the mountains like this dear shepherd on the left. He certainly must have viewed this national preacher as remarkable, who was willing to “sleep on the ground” and live in his outdoor setting for the express purpose of telling him the gospel of Jesus Christ. You can see in the photo that Tarmukhan thought ahead enough to bring a foam mattress for sleeping.

“I met a homeless alcoholic and brought him home with me. He stayed with us, and I cleaned him up, and He accepted Christ.”
