Light for a Wizard

Beautiful and rugged — so describes the hills of Kan Voo’s mission field. Thousands of villages lie nestled away in valleys where people raise their living on small garden plots and with a few chickens or goats. Much of the world welcomes Americans, and though westerners would be given tea and a modest luncheon of rice if visiting these villages, the gospel is communicated better by national preachers like Kan Voo, who speak their language and understand the culture. Both of these photos were taken by Kan Voo and sent to the people who sponsor him through Gospelink. The photo below was taken near the village of Mr. Veigh, the man tormented by evil spirits. Most of the “roads”in this part of the world are similar mountain trails that Pastor Voo traverses on his outreach treks. Such are the places where wizards are freed from their bondage by the Good News that Jesus is the bondage breaker!
